Dev Log #5


I believe my group has a great system where all the tasks are able to get done in time as well as expresses our thought. We have a nice order to things and have a nice “hierarchy” in the group. I am the lead for producing and designing. I have the freedom to change what I want as well as add new mechanics. However, I have assistants that help me either remove or improve on those Ideas. This makes creating documents and rules incredibly easy. To add, I am also an assistant writer and presenter. I and the lead work together to make sure that all the content in the document makes sense to the reader. Tasks are written and categorized in Trello. We separate tasks depending on the progress of that task. These categories are Backlog, To do, In Progress, Pending, and Done. 

Having a lead and assistants makes scheduling a lot easier because leads have a responsibility to understand what is going on and make sure everyone else knows what is going on. We have a dedicated time for weekly meetings. Every Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm we have a work meeting where we all work together to write up documents, test the game and clarify mechanics and systems. On Fridays, we have a quick 6:30-7:00 pm meeting on reviewing sprint and discussing what to work on. To add we chose to have meetings on Friday to discuss the feedback from the morning class.
